Installation Method Of VOSS Quick Plug System

Before installation, it is important to ensure that the surfaces of all components are clean.
1. VOSS quick connector installation special tool and nut seat installation special tool

2. Shear of Nylon Tube
The cutting end face of the nylon tube must be perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tube, and the end face must be neat. The special cutting tool below must be used to prevent burrs from affecting the sealing performance and ensure a neat cross-section. There are various specifications for nylon tube diameters.
3. Assemble the nylon tube with the bamboo toothed quick connector
There are various specifications for quick connectors. When pressing the quick connector into the nylon tube, the following points should be noted: ① operate at room temperature; ② Dragon tubes are not allowed to be heated; ③ The inverted teeth should not be damaged in any way, otherwise it will affect the tightness of the connection with the nylon tube; Select the quick connector corresponding to the diameter of the nylon tube and clamp the nylon tube onto the appropriate diameter of the pliers (be careful not to use threaded jaws to clamp the nylon tube head, so that the quick connector can be installed on the other end of the pliers), and leak out 5-8mm of the tube head. Adjust the bolt on the handle of the pliers to achieve the appropriate clamping force.
4. Install the nut seat, retaining spring, and rubber washer onto the base
As mentioned earlier, there are three types of nut seats available in NG6, NG8, and NG12 specifications, each with corresponding installation handles. Taking valve spare parts as an example, the installation method is explained below. The installation method for nut seats on other clutch assist cylinders, brake chambers, air reservoirs, etc. is the same.
There are design holes on the base of the nut seat.
5. Connection between quick plug connector and substrate
The quick connector connected to the base (and nut seat) is equipped with a protective cap before installation. Remove the protective cap and push the quick connector of the nylon tube into the hole of the nut seat. Press the quick connector with your hand to squeeze the rubber washer until the snap spring is inserted into the groove at the front end of the quick connector (see Figure 12). Pull in the opposite direction of installation to check if the snap spring is installed correctly in place. It is necessary to ensure that the quick connector does not tilt inside the hole. The connection part of the quick connector should not be separated, and it is considered to be correctly connected when the red O-ring is not visible.
